Learn about graduate study and career opportunities in Biomedical Informatics!  The BMHI-ALC  community is looking for talented students and clinicians from all backgrounds interested in contributing to cutting edge research in foundational and applied areas of biomedical informatics.

Foundational research focuses on issues of data, knowledge and information in biomedicine and includes data science, applying advanced computational techniques, including artificial intelligence and machine learning, image analysis, knowledge engineering, information design, information behavior, human computer interfaces. Application domains of biomedical informatics range from supporting translational and clinical researchers, clinicians caring for patients, imaging applications, population health, and public health. 

Stipends and tuition support are available. Students from underrepresented groups are encouraged to apply.  Graduates of our programs have abundant career opportunities in academia, industry, and government.
