Dream of authoring a chapter or editing a book? Have ideas for topics? Wonder how to find a publisher?

Learn from five AMIA member authors and editors about their experiences writing book chapters describing the content, knowledge and methods that constitute the growing domains of clinical research informatics and translational research.  Presenters share lessons learned and offer advice for attendees considering, initiating or joining book projects.

Hear how the projects started, how each author chose to conceptualize and present CRI topics, how books and book chapters can be used to document the evolution of the CRI field, as well as train future generations of informatics practitioners and leaders. Learn how presenters identify gaps in content, education, and training materials, and suggest emerging CRI topics.

Session includes a Q&A with the presenter panel.
