The JAMIA Journal Club format is a 35-minute discussion between a paper’s lead author and JAMIA Student Editorial Board moderators including salient features of the published study and its potential impact on practice. The 35-minute presentation is followed by 25 minutes of questions and answers with webinar attendees submitting questions via the webinar platform. Each month a member of the JAMIA Student Editorial Board selects the article for discussion and engages the JAMIA article author in Q&A.
All JAMIA Journal Club Webinars are free for AMIA members and nonmembers. Registration is required to participate.
The JAMIA Journal Club webinar series offers participants the opportunity to interact directly with the researcher/author of that month’s article to explore the article’s implications and applications in professional practice.
