Public Biography
Dr. Tiffani J. Bright is a nationally-recognized leader in applied clinical informatics, with expertise design, implementation, and evaluation of clinical decision support systems, mHealth, and optimization of electronic health records. She is Chair of AMIA's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Task Force, and a leader in the development of a diverse and inclusive informatics workforce through her activities as a member of the Women in AMIA (WIA) steering committee, co-chair of the WIA Pipeline subcommittee, founder of the AMIA First Look program, and 2020 blackcomputeHER Fellow. Dr. Bright received her PhD in biomedical informatics from Columbia University and completed a Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship at Duke University in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health. She previously served as a research program officer at the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality and faculty member at Washington University in St. Louis.
