Public Biography
Dr. Rizvi is physician informaticist, serving as assistant professor in the Department of Surgery and a digital innovation integration lead at the Center for Learning Health System Sciences. She has a career that is a blend of both international and US education and experience of over 10 years in the field of health informatics (both in industry and academia). Her expertise are in usability evaluations and work-flow analysis, human-computer interaction, qualitative / mixed methods research and implementation sconce. Her main interest is to explore, incorporate, and address the factors that could facilitate successful integration of technologies in health care delivery, both for clinicians and patients She also has a special interest in strengthening diversity, equity and inclusion-related policies and practices, both in the USA and across the globe.
