The field of Clinical Informatics is a novel, fast-growing subspecialty which first established board certification through the American Board of Preventive Medicine in 2013. The program was established to meet this growing need as the first-ever Clinical Informatics Fellowship in Florida, and the first-ever located at a dedicated cancer center in the nation. The Clinical Informatics program's mission is to contribute to the prevention and cure of cancer by training the nation's most skilled clinical informatics experts.
