Historic ACMI Biography
Dr. Yetisgen made seminal contributions applying natural language processing (NLP) to literature-based discovery. She subsequently led efforts adapting state-of-the-art computational linguistics methods to process clinical text, with focus areas including oncology, radiology and social determinants of health. Further contributions include development of shared resources and tasks for the NLP community.
