Historic ACMI Biography
Dr. Kawamoto has pioneered the use of Web services to enable clinical decision support (CDS) at scale, including through the open-source, multi-institutional OpenCDS initiative (www.opencds.org). He has led the development of multiple HL7 CDS standards designated “best available standards” by the ONC and leads national ONC/CMS interoperability initiatives (www.healthedecisions.org, www.cqframework.info).
