Historic ACMI Biography
Dr. Poon did the initial work demonstrating the safety impact of bar-coding at the point of care, which is now nationally adopted. Has done key work on test result management, facilitators and costs of HIT implementation and unintended consequences of HIT. Currently CHIO at Duke Medicine, one of the nationís leading systems.
