Historic ACMI Biography
Dr. David Vawdrey is an important informatics leader, functioning as a successful senior executive while excelling in research. As a Vice President at New York-Presbyterian Hospital and Founding Director of the Value Institute, he leads a 100+ analytics team. He has >90 publications, multiple funded grants, and has mentored distinguished students. Dr. Vawdrey has shown a sustained and significant contribution to the field of informatics in applying informatics principles to healthcare operations, in advancing informatics science through research, and in developing our health informatics research workforce through mentoring and teaching.
