Public Biography
Amanda holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Entrepreneurial Management, a Master of Science in Health Informatics, and is nearing completion of a Ph.D. in Health Informatics. Her research is motivated by her vision of a healthcare landscape that empowers patients, improves provider experiences, and establishes an integrated learning health system. She employs a comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach to healthcare transformation across the care continuum, blending process enhancement, human-centered design, and knowledge translation perspectives.

In addition to her academic pursuits, Amanda has leadership experience across the private, public, and non-profit sectors of healthcare. She specializes in health informatics, healthcare management, implementation science, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement. She has a history of catalyzing transformative change through technological innovation, having led several enterprise-level clinical and non-clinical systems implementations. Amanda is a decisive and results-oriented leader who cultivates strong relationships built on transparency, empathy, and trust. Amanda embodies an unwavering dedication to healthcare innovation through her work as a healthcare leader, author, editorial board member, and researcher.
