As we reflect on the accomplishments of 2023, we come back to one overarching and reoccurring theme: AMIA members and the work they do are amazing! It is an honor to help support you on your career journey. For some members, they are taking their first steps into a bountiful career in informatics and for others they are winding down and taking a look back at all they've accomplished to move the needle in biomedical and health informatics and for others they are realizing their power to improve the lives of others through their work.

As we look toward opportunities in 2024, we hope that you will take a moment to acknowledge all that you do. Because we do. As we continue to build and improve, we hope you will continue to provide feedback, engage with your fellow members, and support your professional home.
As we do at the end of every year and the beginning of the next, we've taken a moment to be grateful. Grateful for our members and the great work they do throughout the year. Grateful for the continued growth in biomedical and health informatics. Grateful that we support 5,500 informaticians as they transform health and healthcare for a brighter future. Most importantly, we are grateful that you chose AMIA to be your professional home.
As we take a moment to remember: Alone we are strong, together we are better. Look out 2024! It's the year of informatics.
