This webinar will provide an opportunity for members to hear from the 25x5 Policy and Advocacy Workstream about their work tackling documentation burden for clinical workers at a federal level. Members will hear updates on how the Workstream advances the 25x5 Task Force’s mission to reduce U.S. health professionals’ documentation burden to 25% of the current state within five years of the Task Force’s inception in 2021, as well as how the Workstream advances Informatics. Workstream members will be able to share their progress through their recent successes, hurdles, and future goals. AMIA members will have the opportunity to ask questions about 25x5’s federal engagement and share ideas based on their own experiences with documentation burden. 

Upon completion of this webinar, learners will be able to:

  • Engage in an informed discussion about 25x5’s policy work, including successes and future goals.
  • Identify key challenges related to documentation burden and describe their impact on federal policy and lawmaking.
