Under the guidance of faculty mentors and research scientists, this paid research opportunity allows undergraduate and graduate students from diverse academic backgrounds to focus on the support and elevation of biomedical informatics through research translation and practice.
Students selected for the 12-week data science and biomedical informatics internship work within a lab setting with faculty members partaking in active research. The program also exposes the trainees to traditional activities in academia, such as lab retreats and poster sessions. Both undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to apply.
