The UAMS Clinical Informatics Fellowship Training Program provides state-of-the-art training and broad informatics experience for physicians pursuing advanced medical subspecialty training in applied Clinical Informatics.
Our two-year, ACGME-accredited program is housed in the UAMS Department of Biomedical Informatics. Eligible applicants have successfully completed an accredited residency program in a primary medical specialty (i.e., pediatrics, internal medicine, etc.). We accept two fellows each academic year: one from an adult specialty and one from a pediatric specialty. Arkansas Children’s Hospital is the primary training site for fellows with pediatric specialties, while the UAMS Medical Center is the training site for fellows with specialties that cater to adults.
