The goal of OHSU Master of Science (MS) programs is to train future professionals, researchers, and leaders in health and clinical informatics (HCIN). Individuals with a variety of backgrounds are provided a strong technical grounding in biomedical informatics and data science, health and biomedicine, computer science, people and organizational issues, and research methods. The program provides both thesis and non-thesis (capstone) options. Students can also get credit for an internship experience in a local healthcare system or industry. The HCIN program is available on-campus or online.
