The PhD program in Biomedical Informatics at ASU provides training to students who would like to develop a research career in bioinformatics, clinical informatics, and population health informatics, as well as cross-cutting areas such as biomedical imaging science and biomedical data science. The BMI program fosters collaborations among academic researchers, clinical practitioners, healthcare systems, bioscience industry, and governmental agencies to apply informatics theories, models, methods, and processes to clinical practice, biomedical research, and public health.
